Physician Associates Announces 2007 Scholarship ProgramPA recently awarded $1000 scholarships to eleven local high school seniors. The PA Scholarship Program was developed to support students throughout the San Gabriel Valley community including Glendale, Eagle Rock, Montrose, La Canada, La Crescenta and surrounding areas as well as Tujunga. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5, get a recommendation letter from their Guidance Counselor and complete an essay entitled, “A Life Lesson I Learned From Science.” Commenting on this year’s applicants, Dr. Wald said that they were “incredibly talented students who submitted terrific essays.” Because of this, Dr. Wald and Virginia Fleming had “much difficulty” in selecting the 2007 winners An Award Luncheon recognizing the eleven winners was held on May 25th at the Pasadena Masonic Temple.
